Seabreeze Is Moving to Miami
The home studio got Seabreeze started. Now it’s time for a space that fits where the practice is going. From 9 October I’ll be treating from Miami on Fridays and Saturdays, while Palm Beach continues Monday to Wednesday, and appointments are now open to both men and women.

Seabreeze started from a room at home in Mermaid Waters.
And honestly, it did exactly what I needed it to do.
It gave me somewhere quiet to build the kind of practice I wanted — one client at a time, without trying to turn bodywork into a production line. I could take my time, assess properly, work slowly when the tissue needed slow work, and build the session around the person on the table instead of around a preset routine.
A lot has changed since then.
I’ve gone back for more training. The work has become more focused around movement, fascia and recurring patterns rather than simply working on whichever area is sore that day. And more people have started finding Seabreeze because they’re looking for exactly that kind of treatment.
Eventually the room at home started feeling like something Seabreeze had grown out of.
So we’re moving.
From 9 October, Seabreeze is in Miami
From Friday 9 October, I’ll be treating from:
Seabreeze Bodywork & Massage 11/2098 Gold Coast Hwy Miami QLD 4220
I’ll initially be there Fridays and Saturdays.
It’s a proper commercial clinic space, which gives Seabreeze room to grow without changing the part of the business that matters to me: private, one-on-one appointments where there is enough time to actually pay attention to what is going on.
It also means something else I’ve wanted to change for a while.
Seabreeze is now open to men and women
The women-only setup was never because the bodywork itself was only relevant to women.
It was because I was working from our home.
Moving into dedicated clinic spaces means that restriction no longer makes sense, so appointments in both Miami and Palm Beach are open to men and women.
If your partner has been hearing about your appointments and asking when they can come in too, the answer is now.
Palm Beach isn’t disappearing
Miami is the long-term direction for Seabreeze, but it isn’t the only place you can see me right now.
I’m also treating from:
Palm Beach Community Centre 1 Thrower Dr, Palm Beach QLD 4221
Monday to Wednesday, 7am–2pm.
That gives clients at the southern end of the Gold Coast another option while the Miami clinic gets established.
When you book, you’ll simply choose the location that suits you and then choose your session.
The room is changing. The way I work isn’t.
A new address doesn’t mean a new treatment philosophy.
I’ll still start by listening to what has been happening, looking at how you’re moving and working out which areas are worth paying attention to before I start treating.
Sometimes the area that hurts is exactly where we need to work.
Sometimes it isn’t.
That is one of the reasons fascia has become such an important part of how I work. The body doesn’t exist as a collection of isolated sore spots. Muscles, connective tissue, joints and movement all influence one another, and tension can be felt somewhere different from where a restriction is actually contributing to the pattern.
That doesn’t mean every problem is “caused by fascia”, and I’m not interested in pretending one technique explains every body.
It means I want to look beyond the obvious area before deciding what the session needs.
Depending on what we find, that can include myofascial release, deep tissue bodywork, sustained pressure and other hands-on techniques.
If you’re curious about that side of the work, I’ve written more about myofascial release and fascia here.
You can choose the amount of time that works for you
This is another change I’m happy about.
I don’t want someone avoiding treatment because they think they have to book the longest appointment first.
So there are now three straightforward options:
Focused Session — 60 minutes — $120
Best when there is one main area you want to focus on, or when an hour is what works for your budget or schedule.
Standard Session — 90 minutes — $175
More time to assess more broadly and still have plenty of hands-on treatment time. This will suit a lot of first appointments, but it isn’t compulsory.
Extended Session — 120 minutes — $220
For multiple areas, more complicated patterns, athletes carrying a lot of training load, or anyone who simply wants enough time for slower and broader work without watching the clock.
Every length is a proper appointment.
You don’t need to “qualify” for one by doing another one first.
Why Miami?
There’s a practical answer: Seabreeze needed somewhere outside our home.
But there’s also a bigger reason.
I want this to become a proper local practice rather than something people only discover through somebody who already knows me.
Miami puts Seabreeze in the middle of the community I already see a lot of people who train, surf, run, sit at desks all week, work physical jobs, parent, compete, get tight, get sore and occasionally realise stretching the same spot for the hundredth time probably isn’t changing much.
It also gives me room to keep developing the bodywork side of the practice without turning Seabreeze into a generic massage clinic.
That matters to me.
I want people to come here because they want someone to pay attention.
Not because they picked the first available massage appointment on Google.
If you’ve been meaning to book, now is a good time
Bookings are already open for both locations.
Palm Beach Monday–Wednesday 7am–2pm
Miami Friday–Saturday Opening 9 October
Whether you’ve been coming to Seabreeze for a while or you’ve been following along wondering if this kind of bodywork might suit you, you’re welcome at either clinic.
Men and women.
New clients and existing ones.
One sore area or a body that has decided to hand you a whole list.
Pick the location, choose the amount of time that works for you, and I’ll take it from there.
I’ll see you in the new room.
